National Post Card Week 2014 is the first full week of the month, May 4 - 10th.  To celebrate the humble postcard, the Wichita Postcard Club has produced this very nice tribute to the Arkansas Valley Interurban Railway of the early 1900s designed by artist Rick Geary. Perhaps just a drop... a bracer to strengthen me during this bone cracking rail journey from hell. Yet again temptation presents itself, here in the guise of the jovial country squire, offering just a snort to the pious preacher. Passive resistance, hard to muster, gives way to a tipple or two to shorten the journey.
